COMPLETED PROJECTS
Detailed field write-ups outlining asset diagnostics, concrete remediation, joint repairs, and protective coating systems across Western Australia.

Bridge 1397 — Kenwick Link
Dalecoast completed remediation works at Bridge 1397, located at Kenwick Link over Roe Highway in the City of Gosnells. The works addressed concrete cracking, deteriorated joints and coated surfaces to improve the durability and presentation of the structure.
The scope incorporated concrete crack remediation, joint repairs, controlled surface preparation, Rock Pitching, waterproofing and protective coating works. The works were supported by documented preparation, application and quality-control procedures.

Bridge 4378A — Hopeland Road
Dalecoast delivered rehabilitation works at Bridge 4378A on Hopeland Road over Dirk Brook. The project addressed deteriorated concrete, localised erosion, moisture exposure and associated defects affecting the reinforced concrete structure.
The scope included concrete patch repairs, reinforcement treatment, joint remediation, erosion protection, Earth Works and waterproofing. Controlled repair methods were used to reinstate concrete cover and improve the structure's resistance to moisture and deterioration.

MARABOO WHARF — PORT COOGEE
Dalecoast completed concrete remediation and protective coating works at Bridge 5328 on Maraboo Wharf at Port Coogee. The coastal location required durable repair and coating systems suitable for ongoing marine exposure.
The works addressed concrete spalling, reinforcement corrosion and deterioration affecting bridge elements. Repair areas were prepared and reinstated before protective coatings were applied to reduce moisture and chloride ingress.

Windan Bridge — Protective Coatings and Laser Preparation
Dalecoast was engaged as a specialist subcontractor to Fortec to deliver painting and protective coating works on Windan Bridge. The project required controlled preparation and coating operations on major bridge infrastructure.
The scope incorporated specialist laser surface preparation together with the application of protective coating systems. Dalecoast supplied experienced personnel, equipment and project controls to support safe delivery and coating quality.

UP9166 — Hester Avenue Underpass
Dalecoast delivered remediation works at UP9166, the Hester Avenue underpass in the City of Wanneroo. The project addressed deteriorated concrete, exposed reinforcement, cracking and joint defects affecting the structure.
The scope incorporated concrete reinstatement, reinforcement treatment, epoxy crack injection, joint resealing and headwall repairs. The works were completed using controlled preparation methods and documented inspections.

BR9211A — Victoria Park Drive
Dalecoast delivered concrete repairs, protective treatment and repainting works to the bridge structure as part of the Victoria Park Drive Rectification project. The coating system was applied to improve corrosion protection and extend the service life of exposed steel elements.
The works incorporated surface preparation, corrosion treatment, protective primers, intermediate coatings and durable finishing coats. Environmental conditions, coating intervals and dry-film thickness were monitored through the project inspection and test process.

Fremantle Ports — Berths B & C
Dalecoast delivered protective coating works to structural stringers at Fremantle Ports Berths B & C, including abrasive sweep blasting to achieve the specified surface condition, followed by application of a high-performance three-coat protective coating system.
Works were completed under controlled conditions with strict adherence to the project specification, including environmental monitoring, surface preparation standards, coating intervals and QA/QC inspections to ensure long-term corrosion protection in the aggressive marine environment.

Swan River Causeway Bridge — Abrasive Blast & Paint
Dalecoast was engaged to deliver a major abrasive blasting and protective coating program across Bridges BR914 and BR932 on the Swan River Causeway, comprising approximately 22,000m² of structural steelwork. The project required mobilisation of barges and purpose-built encapsulation systems to provide safe access beneath the bridge and contain blasting and coating operations over the Swan River.
Steelwork was progressively abrasive blasted and recoated with a protective coating system, with works carefully staged to maintain environmental controls, quality requirements and ongoing bridge operations throughout the project. Operating under rigorous safety and quality management frameworks, Dalecoast restored structural integrity while maintaining full operational continuity for surrounding maritime vessel pathways and key arterial road transport.

Nedlands Shopping Centre – CFRP Column Strengthening
Dalecoast completed concrete remediation and carbon fibre reinforced polymer strengthening works to structural columns at Nedlands Shopping Centre. The works were carefully staged to restore the affected concrete and provide additional structural reinforcement while operating within an active commercial environment.
The columns were thoroughly prepared before all cracks and areas of concrete spalling were repaired. Once a sound and correctly profiled substrate had been established, the specified CFRP system was applied to strengthen the structural elements. A skim coat was then installed over the completed reinforcement to provide a uniform, protected finish. The completed works restored the damaged concrete and strengthened the columns using a high-performance CFRP system. The final skim coat provided a clean and consistent surface while protecting the completed reinforcement.
